their visitors. Affiliates earn commission for this distribution.

The links to our content are made available to you through
the BrainFox Affiliate Network interface or through our XML

Who is BrainFox? What is BrainFox content?
BrainFox is a pay-per-click search engine. Our content is
based on keywords and is comprised of advertisers' listings,
ranked by their bid on the keyword at a given point in time.
Listings include a title, brief text description, a url link,
and a bid. The ranking is dynamic and changes as frequently
as new and existing advertisers update their bids.
The quality and relevancy of the listings that result from
keyword searches on our search engine tend to be high. Most
advertisers only bid on relevant keywords due to the cost
associated with the click. Additionally, advertisers will
try to use the best marketing language and landing page they
can to meet the consumers' needs - so that they earn money
to offset the cost they incurred by bidding.
Can I reward my visitors for clicking
on links in your content?
No. This would not be delivering value to our advertisers.
These types of clicks would not be considered valid clicks.
Do I earn commission for every click?
You earn commission for every valid click. A valid click is
one that is not captured by any of our Traffic Quality Control
Rules and does not come from a source that is disallowed by
the advertiser or BrainFox management. Valid clicks tend to
come from consumers who are genuinely searching for information,
products or services, who are not rewarded just for clicking,
and are from sources that do not have a lot of invalid or
fraudulent activity.
How much commission can I earn?
We do not cap the amount of commission you can earn each month.
The more valid clicks you send us, the more your total earnings
add up.
When and how do I get paid?
We pay monthly based on activity during the previous calendar
month. After the month is completed, we total up the amounts
of gross and valid clicks, recheck validation, and then submit
commissions earned to our Accounts Payable department. If
you earn at least $50 in commissions on valid clicks during
the previous calendar month, then we will issue you a check
for the commission amount earned that month. If you earn less
than $50 in commissions, then we will hold the amount and
add it to future commissions. Once your held and earned commissions
total to at least $50, we will issue you a check during the
payment cycle.
Please remember that we can only send checks if we have your
tax payer information (W-9 for US affiliates and W-8 for foreign
affiliates). Our Finance Department contacts affiliates by
mail to gather this information. If we do not have this information
on file, then we hold your check(s) until we receive it.
What is the minimum number of visitors to my site that I
must have in order to be a BrainFox affiliate?
There is no minimum. We welcome all potential partners. Click
here to go to the affiliate application.
Can I initiate the click-through on
behalf of my visitor?
No. Pop-up and pop-under delivery methods should display our
search listings, not a forced click-through to an advertiser.
How do I get reports?
Login to [url] to get into the affiliate interface. This will
bring you to the welcome page where you will see tabs at the
top to access reports, links, training information, and your
contact information (please keep this up to date so that we
can always reach you).
If you click on the "View Reports" tab, then you
will be given a quick view of statistics (you can set any
date range) and a choice to run 4 more reports. Click here
to see an example of the reports.
Can I use the same account for multiple
websites or my own distribution partners?
Yes. Utilize the sub-affiliate function to list other websites
owned by you or by your partners. You can then also use the
sub-affiliate report to track and optimize the business across
each site.
Can I promote the program or content
through email?
Yes, provided that you are not spamming or sending unsolicited
commercial emails (UCE). We have a zero tolerance for spam
or UCEs and will terminate your affiliate membership in the
Network.
I live/work in a foreign country and
deliver foreign visitors; can I still become a BrainFox affiliate?
Yes, but realize that all of BrainFox's content is in English,
so your visitors must be proficient in English to gain value
from the search results and to give value to our advertisers.
We will not approve an application if we believe that it will
not meet this criterion. Please note that at this time we
do not accept affiliates from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan,
Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech
Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel,
Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Latvia, Lithuania,
